It all started in 1952 by an Abingdon surgeon.

Who We Are

Washington County Life Saving Crew provides Emergency Medical Services in and around Washington County, Virginia. Our providers respond to over 3,000 emergencies each year, including medical emergencies, crash rescue, water rescue, and provide mutual aid for Advanced Life Support for neighboring agencies. Even if you or your loved ones have never needed our services, you can rest easy knowing that we are there for you 365 days a year.

Vehicle Crash Stanley St & Walden Rd

Today at 1405 Washington County Life Saving Crew was dispatched to a utility truck that advised they flipped over at the intersection of Stanley St & Walden Rd. Ambulance 54 and Rescue 51 responded and arrived on the scene to find a single box truck on its side with the driver out of the vehicle.
