EMS Standbys

The Washington County Life Saving Crew, proudly provides standbys for the community. If your agency/company would like the Crew to standby at your event, we ask that you contact us no later than 4 weeks prior to the event so that we can obtain the staffing needed to cover both daily calls and the standby. We regularly provide standbys for Abingdon High School, local running events, and the K-VAT Company Picnic.

Should the date or time change, please notify us in advance. If you have any further questions or concerns please contact Public Relations at 276-676-2401 Ext. 09 or via e-mail.

Education

WCLSC provides public education for schools, senior citizen groups, Girl and Boy Scouts and various other local organizations. Many times we have an ambulance for the public to explore, hand out materials on life-saving measures and treatments for basic first aid, and our members are always willing to speak to anyone wanting to learn about EMS and what we do. We enjoy getting to know our community and educating about our services.
