Senior Membership

  A Senior member is anyone over the age of 21, that possesses a valid state of Virginia EMT-B, AEMT, EMT-I, or Paramedic certification and a CPR certification. Senior members are eligible to be part-time employees or volunteers. As a Senior member, you have voting rights and are required to attend and participate in the monthly business and training meetings.

Associate Membership

  An Associate member is anyone over the age of 17, that possesses a valid state of Virginia EMT-B, AEMT, EMT-I, or Paramedic certification and a CPR certification. Associate members are eligible to be part-time employees or volunteers. As an Associate member, you do not have voting rights but are encouraged to attend the monthly business meetings. Associate members are, however, required to attend all training meetings.

Junior Membership

  A Junior member is anyone over the age of 17 but under the age of 21, that possesses a valid state of Virginia EMT-B, AEMT, EMT-I, or EMT-P certification and a CPR certification. Junior members are required to work 24 hours of duty time each month, or two (2), twelve-hour shifts. Junior members are eligible to be part-time employees after, they are over the age of 18 and possess a current state certification. As a Junior member, you do not have voting rights but are required to attend the monthly business meetings, as well as the Junior membership meetings. There is also a Junior advisor on staff to assist in the Junior members' growth with their endeavors as an emergency medical services provider.
